Rebekah Caldwell-Mason

Mason served as press secretary during Governor-elect Bentley’s 2010 campaign for governor.

She co-founded Caldwell Mason Marketing in 2003, an advertising agency providing marketing, public relations and media relations services for local and regional clients. She also co-founded the agency’s outdoor advertising division, Outdoor Boards.

Mason was news director and news anchor for WJRD, a television station purchased by the University of Alabama and re-launched as WVUA in 2001.

She was a television news anchor and Tuscaloosa bureau chief for Birmingham-based WBRC television and served as news director and news anchor for Tuscaloosa television station WDBB.

Mason was president of the Alabama Associated Press Broadcasters Association. She has received numerous Alabama Associated Press awards for her work as news director and was named “Best News Anchor” by the Alabama Associated Press in 1995, 2000 and 2002.

Mason is a 1993 graduate of The University of Alabama.

She and her husband, Jon, live in Tuscaloosa and have three children.
